Brahma Shri Kanippayyur Krishnan Namboodiripad
Brahmasree Kanippayyur Krishnan Namboodiripad, a connoisseur in Vaasthu Vidya, imparts his expertise in India and abroad. He hails from Kanippayyur family in Kerala, famous for their contribution to Vedic Rituals, Astrology and Vaasthu Sastra.
As the grandson of the doyen of Vaasthu, Brahmasree Kanippayyur Shankaran Namboodiripad, he spent his childhood studying Vedas and Sastras. After his schooling, he earned a Postgraduate Degree in Mathematics. He worked as a College lecturer in Christ College, Irinjalakuda and Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur.
But after a while, he left his college job and took up his family profession full time, soon establishing an expert in Vaasthu Vidya. He provided his expertise in the design of several buildings. Hotels, Airports, Corporate Offices, Temples, Churches and Mosques are a few of the building seeking his knowledge.
He served as the Consultant and chief designer of famous Temples and Monasteries in Pan India. To name a few, Maharshi Mahesh Yogi Foundation ashram in Uttar Kashi, Sri Ayyappa temples at R. K. Puram and Rohini in New Delhi, the Ayyappa temples at Bhilai, Bhopal and Nagpur, Ponnu Guruvayurappan temple at Dombivili, Sri Gruruvayurappan temple at Matunga, Mumbai and the Ayyappa temple in Nungambakkam, Chennai.
Kanippayyur Krishnan Namboodiripad was the Vaastu Consultant of Cochin International Airport Limited. Famous Kerala temples like Ayyappa temple at Sabarimala and Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram; and Various Devaswom Boards in Kerala sought his guidance.
Besides Temples, he served as Consultant to many churches in Pathanamthitta, Kottayam and Thrissur Districts, including the Puthupally Church in Kottayam. He Provided Vaasthu advice about the design and construction of various mosques in Kerala.
He is the Vaasthu Consultant of some of the Apollo Hospitals, and Indian Express group of Publication, Chennai. He was the Vaasthu consultant to former Indian President Sri Shankar Dayal Sharma.
His international missions saw him as Chief designer and architect of various temples and buildings abroad in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Some of the countries that utilized his Vaasthu knowledge include the USA, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Botswana, Oman, Belgium and Germany.
Since 1995, He is also serving as the Dean for Sthapathya Veda at Maharshi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University at Vlodrop, in the Netherlands. He is also the Dean of Vaasthu Vidya Gurukulam, Department of Culture, Govt of Kerala.
Some of the awards and titles bestowed on him include UNESCO Award - 2015, Malliyoor Puraskaram - 2014 -15 and Silpasathra Thilaka. He also authored a handful of Books on Vaasthu Shastra.
Dr. K. Balakrishna Warrier
An Astrologer and astronomer, Dr Balakrishna Warrier has post graduate degree in Physics from both Kerala University, India and University of Waterioo, Canada. He took his Ph.D. in Super Conductivity from Cochin University, India. The posts he served includes that of Govt. Astrologer and Travancore Devaswam Board Astrologer. He is a faculty in Vasthuvidya Gurukulam.
Kanippayyur Krishnan Namboodiripad (Son)
Kanippayyur Makan Krishnan Namboodiripad is the son of Kanippayyur Krishnan Namboodiripad . Following family heritage he started learning and practicing Vasthu vidya from his father, right the childhood. After completing Civil engineering diploma started his career as a Vasthu consultant and trainer. He designed more than 1000 houses and commercial buildings. He is also well versed in the design of temples, maintaining traditional principles and sacredness. He was the chief designer of Sri Ayyappa temple, Tampa, Florida, USA and Sri Ayyappa temple, Malaysia. Also assisted his father for the renovation of Sri Padmanabha Temple, Trivandrum, Vadakkumnatha Temple Trissur and Guruvayoor Temple. Visited Houston and Dallas for Vasthu consultation and Shadadhara Pratishta of Guruvayoorappan Temples. He is the visiting faculty of Vasthuvidya Gurukulam.
T. G. Gopakumar
T G Gopakumar is a well known figure of the Vasthu Sasthra fraternity. Being a design enthusiast he joined Vasthuvidya Gurukulam, Aranmula after securing his Masters Degree from MG University, Kerala. He has been working as a Vasthu Sasthra academician, consultant and designer under the mentorship of Vasthu Sasthra Guru Brahmasree Kanippayyoor Krishnan Namboodiripad for the last seventeen years. Over the years he has some 250 traditional architectural designs to his credit with due acknowledgements and admirations from every corner of the society. He is the Director of Vasthu Academy since its inception.
